55 Fiction

Hopping from one blog to another in search of a good read, I chanced upon something known as 55 Fiction. I feel some of the regular readers of this blog will not only attempt this soon but will also find it addictive. Those who are too lazy to click on the link (which leads to Wiki), 55 Fiction is writing a fiction story in not more than 55 words. It need not have a conclusion or moral in the end. Here's my first attempt...

Imperceptible

Gautam signed-in in invisible mode. Parnita would be online. She is a great friend but too romantic. “I am her antithesis…very practical,” he amused himself. And I can see ‘love’ coming. Always seems to be waiting for me to come online. Best avoided.

Thank God Gautam is not online…thought the ‘invisible’ Parnita.

Yo abhinav! but that way every story has some bit of reality disguised as fiction! no?

This blog is becoming boring, he thought. He holstered his Blackberry and jumped into the waiting train. It was freezing outside.
Soon, the white landscape of Siberia started whizzing by. How boring, he muttered again before sinking into his seat with half-closed wistful eyes.
A few minutes later, he took out his Blackberry once more.
